FIACHRA’S GARDEN - KILDARE
See the world-class thoroughbreds, mares and foals for which County Kildare is
famous. Then discover the joy of the Japanese Gardens created between 1906 and
1910 by Japanese gardener Tassa Eida and his son. Also enjoy the Irish water and
rock garden with a monastic cell as the centrepiece dedicated to the patron
Saint of Irish gardeners, St. Fiachra. The refurbished horse museum opens in
2006. Open February – November.
