6. CASTLEDERMOT ABBEY, ROUND TOWER & HIGH CROSS

The historic grounds of St. Diarmaid's Church (1247) contain two unique granite high crosses, a 10th century round tower, a well preserved Romanesque arch from a church that has since vanished and a number of ancient stones and grave slabs.
